SPEAK OUT! SACRAMENTO OPEN MIC

SACRAMENTO'S MOST INCLUSIVE OPEN MIC

Join us on the FIRST and THIRD Wednesdays of every month for a Speak Out! Sacramento Open Mic! This isn’t your average, cut throat, battle of the bands. Speak Out! Open Mics are sort of like your living room. Only the space is filled wall to wall with a community of open minded and loving individuals who want to see you succeed. First timers and big shots are welcomed and treated alike. Speak Out! Sacramento Open Mics are held at Shine Café (1400 E Street) and are always free, though each month we feature a Cause of the Month that you can learn about and contribute to. Sign ups are at 7:30PM and show starts at 8:00PM. If you want a coveted spot on the list, we recommend you show up by 7:00. Often times you will catch a line forming out the door before 7:30 even hits! All genres are welcome—poets, musicians, comedians, story tellers, dancers, lion tamers, and fire breathers. We can’t wait to hear what you have to say!

SPEAK OUT! SACRAMENTO POP-UP CONCERTS

Speak Out! Sacramento believes in giving artists of all levels a platform to share their creation with the world. In our Speak Out! Pop-Up Concerts, we like to feature artists from a diverse background of genre and experience. Feature shows usually showcase 3 – 5 artists of varying media. In order to promote equal arts accessibility to all, we keep our shows free, with the option to donate towards the artists, venue, and Cause of the Month. Pop-Up Concerts take place in backyards, theatres, rooftops, parking lots, as well as more traditional venues. Previous Pop-Up Concerts have included performances from So Much Light, Oshwa, Edgar Granados, Shahera Hyatt, Jeanette Sem, and Jordan Moore.
