Planned Parenthood
MAR MONTE

Planned Parenthood Mar Monte provides a range of reproductive and general health services including birth control, pregnancy testing and options counseling, STD testing and treatment, HIV testing, breast and cervical cancer screening, abortion, prenatal care, pediatrics and adult primary health care to over 250,000 women, men and children in mid-California and Northern Nevada. 

 
 
 

MY SISTER'S HOUSE

My Sister's House serves Asian and Pacific Islander and other underserved women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking by providing a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven, job training, and community services.

WEAVE

WEAVE is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County.  Through a multi-disciplinary effort with Sacramento County, WEAVE also provides 24/7 response, outreach and services for victims of sex trafficking.

Waking the Village’s Tubman House offers 18 months of housing and support so that Sacramento County’s homeless, parenting or pregnant youth and their children can get busy living rather than surviving.

StudentReach believes in the potential of all students. Their programs— including 1-on-1 mentoring for at-risk, homeless and refugee students, anti-bullying assemblies, and volunteering trips abroad— work to empower each student to find success in the classroom and beyond.

916 Ink Sacramento Youth Writers empowers students in the Sacramento region with creative writing, thereby developing strong readers and inspired writers who lead a higher quality of life due to increased literacy skills and improved academics.

 
 

COLLEGE TRACK
 

College Track recruits students from underserved communities and works continuously with them from the summer before ninth grade through college graduation. Their ten-year program removes the barriers that prevent students from earning their college degree by providing them with comprehensive academic support, leadership training, financial and college advising, and scholarships.
